Freshwater Education District is seeking a reliable detail-oriented
individual to join our team as a Substitute Cleaner at our
administrative office and school. As a vital member of our custodial
staff, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary
environment during the absence of our regular evening cleaner. Duties
include sweeping, mopping, dusting, and ensuring that facilities are
presentable for the next day. The ideal candidate should be flexible,
able to work early mornings or afternoons/evenings on short notice,
and committed to upholding high standards of cleanliness. Previous
experience in custodial work is a plus. If you are a dedicated individual
with a strong work ethic and an eye for cleanliness, we invite you to

Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated English Learner Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide specialized instruction and support to English Language Learners (ELLs) across various schools within the Freshwater Education District, aligning with the Minnesota English Language Proficiency Standards. This role involves designing and implementing effective English language acquisition programs, collaborating with educators and administrators, and ensuring equitable access to quality education for all students.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement instructional strategies aligned with the Minnesota English Language Proficiency Standards, focusing on speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills.
• Assess students' language proficiency levels according to state standards and create individualized learning plans to facilitate English language acquisition and academic success.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, administrators, and support staff to differentiate instruction and modify curriculum as needed to support ELLs in meeting state standards.
• Provide guidance and support to classroom teachers in implementing effective strategies for ELLs in mainstream classrooms while aligning with Minnesota EL standards.
• Foster a culturally responsive and inclusive learning environment that respects and celebrates diversity, integrating the Minnesota EL standards into daily instruction.
• Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding students' progress, needs, and strategies for language development, adhering to state guidelines.Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
• Valid Minnesota teaching certification/license with an endorsement in ESL/ELL or related field, and knowledge of Minnesota English Language Proficiency Standards.
• Experience working with English Language Learners in a classroom setting, incorporating state EL standards into instruction.
• Familiarity with best practices in ESL instruction, language acquisition theories, and culturally responsive teaching strategies aligned with Minnesota EL standards.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.

Early Childhood Special Education Teacher - Freshwater Education District
Freshwater Education District is seeking a positive and energetic educator to join our
ECSE team. The ECSE teacher provides early intervention services for children with
special needs within the home and preschool settings. Freshwater Education District
provides high quality staff development, recognizes the value of teamwork and offers
leadership opportunities.
Basic Responsibilities:
● Provide face to face and consultative services to children, ages three through five
as outlined in their Individualized Education Plan (IEP)
● Assist, as a member of a multidisciplinary team, in making special education
programming decisions and in the development of an IEP
● Conduct ongoing assessment of children over the course of the IEP
● Prepare and maintain an efficient schedule for delivery of early intervention
services
● Work cooperatively with special education support personnel, families and other
service providers
● Provide case management services and assure compliance with special
education due process
Qualifications:
* Licensure as an Early Childhood Special Education Teacher by MDE or the ability
to become licensed as a teacher.
● Demonstrate the ability to plan for and facilitate early intervention services for
young children and their families, communicate ideas both verbally and in writing,
and to maintain positive working relationships with parents and colleagues.
